What a way to end the year! Quiet and yet a bit rowdy. Heard a lecture on Buddy Holly’s influence on music. I never knew his “career” was just 18 months!!!! Sang along in the audience participation show of “Rocking New Year’s Eve.” Proudly wore my festive little crown.
Had tea with Sheila and her Nutcracker guardsman on sinful treats.
Took Kelly’s husband, Scott Houk, to the movie while she got ready to perform - he enjoyed New Year’s Eve, the 2012 multi-plot humorous film. Sat with him while Kelly belted out tunes at the Big Band Ball. Did not go out on the floor to help the balloon stay up - that melee looked too cutthroat.
I ended 2017 with a hot spiced whiskey! perfect drink, soothing and tingly! Hope everyone had as good a day as I did.
