The fifty years between us disappeared as I read her words. No wonder we connect on so many levels; I could have been reading my own thoughts and experiences, though she has a flair with words that I never had at that age! In her words, ideas "swarm," while becoming a book would be the ultimate good ending, how white is a snow flake, and being alone does not always mean solitude.
Her musings ran quite a gamut of situations and experiences: being alone, what constitutes a home, the whiteness of snow on an early North Carolina morning, sharing writing with an audience, and reincarnation. What a mind! Never hesitates to have (and utter) an opinion! Views her world through a multifaceted lens that offers a kaleidoscopic philosophy of life!
This kid is no kid! She is a young woman searching for her own voice in the cacophony that surrounds her.
Asking my opinion so flattered me. It was that unanticipated present that has made me smile all day.
